This Summer, on August 27th, Fit2Day's first Rock’n’Run team took to the mountains (Atzmannig) of St. Gallen to push their physical boundaries. The feat was an 8km run which included 17 stations of killer obstacles, such as, scaling walls, a rowing station, pulling tires, and 2km of straight-up running in a blistering heat.
This course pushed fitness and stamina levels to the limit. And these guys rocked it! To give you an idea of the intensity of this race, the coaches in the pictures below were there to slap stickers on anyone's back that they didn't think was working hard enough. The penalty? 40 jump squats, and this was after completing 12 minutes of back-to-back exercises (burpees, sit-ups, jump squats, jump jacks) with no break. This "bootcamp" was the FIRST station.
A big thanks to Brigitta for the awesome pics and moral support and to Sylvia and her husband for the rooting the team on! You guys made the day brighter!
